With a book by acclaimed playwright Alfred
Uhry (Driving Miss Daisy) and a rousing, colorful and haunting
score by Jason Robert Brown (Songs For A New World, The Last
Five Years, Bridges Of Madison County), Parade is a moving
examination of the darkest corners of Americaís history. In
1913, Leo Frank, a Brooklyn-raised Jew living in Georgia,
is put on trial for the murder of 13-year-old Mary Phagan,
a factory worker under his employ. Already guilty in the eyes
of everyone around him, a sensationalist publisher and a janitorís
false testimony seal Leoís fate. His only defenders are a
governor with a conscience and, eventually, his Southern wife
who finds the strength and love to become his greatest champion.
Daring, innovative and bold, Parade is filled with soaring
music and a heart-wrenching story, offering a moral lesson

"Still thinking about last night's performance - absolutely incredible, I was blown away by the sound in the opening and closing number. Oh and everything in the middle too! Fantastic performances by all the leads, but I loved how much the chorus stood out in every scene they were in, and all the little cameos. Just amazing!! I may have shed a tear or two... Well done everyone xx"
"Completely blown away by you all in Parade tonight! Every single cast member was superb! Special mention to Mr Simon Knight who is a total genius and the incredible Matt and Kat. No words - just genuine emotion (and yes I did blub! I am not ashamed!). A week is not enough....xx"
"Truly amazing show tonight guys. You must be so proud. You absolutely did this show justice (wrong word?) and it was stunning. I canít pick out names as every one of you played their part to perfection. Loved the set, the Costumes, the gorgeous harmonies, so many tiny details in the direction. The chain gang, the trial scene, the fishing, the tree, the dance, the Chairography! One name worth mentioning - Sisi Knight"
